Leeds, UK October 2009 - Luminary extends its team within a leading UK supermarket, providing additional resources for two projects.

Luminary is assisting with the enhancement of existing in-store applications by introducing hand held terminals to increase the productivity of store employees. The applications have been developed using technologies that include ASP, C#, IIS and SQL Server.

In addition Luminary resource has also been incorporated into the supermarket’s core support and maintenance team, supporting and performance tuning a portfolio of Microsoft technology based applications developed using technologies such as SQL Server, VB and Winforms. Enhancements to the applications are also being undertaken to integrate them with the supermarket’s new ERP system.
