Slough, UK April 2009 - Ingres Corporation, the leading open source
database management company and pioneer of The New Economics of IT, today announced that
Luminary, the services arm of Ingres UK, has become a member of the Alfresco Software Gold partner
program. Alfresco Software is the first and leading provider of open source enterprise
content management (ECM). Luminary offers a range of services from systems integration
to business intelligence and will be providing specific implementation and services around
Alfresco's content management suite.
Luminary has a vast experience in open source software environments, working with a number
of clients, including The Office of the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland and
Indesit Company to optimise their software investments. Following the merger
of Luminary into the Ingres company portfolio in 2007, the breadth of
expertise available to its clients expanded.
