Leeds, UK April 2009 - Planning is underway for the next UK IUA conference which will be held at the University of Westminster in London on the 9th of June 2009. The theme for this year's event is "Doing More With Even Less". The IUA will shortly be publishing a full agenda for this year's conference, along with more information on registration.

Anyone thinking of presenting at this years conference is reminded that the call for papers has been issued and the deadline is approaching for submitting an abstract. Presentations should be around 45 minutes long and be relevant to users of the Ingres family of products. Topics of particular interest might include:

The submission of a proposal or abstract must be made by Monday the 20th of April. In addition to submissions from presenters, the IUA are interested to hear suggestions from possible attendees for topics they would like to see presented.

A brief abstract or topic suggestion should be submitted to the IUA committee member responsible for the conference agenda using this link.
