LEEDS, UK 28th October 2003 - Mike Weightman, a senior
IT manager with Hays Logistics, is joining Luminary Solutions -
the fast growing specialist in bespoke systems integration, mobile
solutions and Ingres. Weightman joins as General Manager with
particular responsibility for commercial management and sales.
Weightman, a 15 year IT professional, was a Development
Manager at Hays. Prior to that he was a Consulting Manager for CA
Services, UK and Ireland, and was for five years a business manager
for Apertus Systems Limited. Apertus was acquired by CA in
2000.
Neil Warnock, founding Director of Luminary, commented
"This is excellent news for Luminary. Mike brings excellent
commercial and management skills to the organisation. We will be
looking to Mike to lead on our commercial relationships with
customers and partners. His experience in this area brings
strength in depth to our management team".
Weightman said "The quality of service that Luminary

business".
Weightman joins the board of Luminary in November, 2003.
Luminary is a systems integration company that combines
existing corporate systems to produce new, integrated applications
delivered to multiple display technologies - such as browsers,
PDAs and mobile phones.
The template architecture developed by Luminary ties
together different data sources and application sources and
presents it to new back office and mobile interfaces. The
architecture provides secure and efficient access to underlying
databases and applications, whilst existing operational systems
remain unchanged.
In addition, the company works with Computer Associates
(CA), one of the largest software companies in the world, to
provide services to the worldwide installed base of Ingres RDBMS
and OpenROAD customers.
